Black Vegan Activist Workshop Series

Afro-Vegan Society has created a workshop series designed to arm existing and aspiring Black vegan activists with the tools they need to effect profound change in the communities they wish to serve. This series will cover a range of topics including identifying your activist approach, understanding the wants and needs of your target audience, identifying funding opportunities for community outreach, centering cultural identity in your activist strategy, and so much more. By the end of this series you'll craft a strategy for your very own Black Vegan Activist (BVA) Community Outreach Initiative so that you can have a game plan for influencing meaningful change in your community. You'll also gain exposure to the resources you'll need to take your plans from the drawing board to the real world.
