About the Chef: Kingston Zoom Walters
I was born Vegan. I learned that we drank almond milk because cow's milk was for baby cows. Eating plant-based foods was just normal for me (and delicious!). Growing up I learned that we didn't visit zoos and marine parks because the animals inside these places were not happy. As I got older I learned more about animals used for food, entertainment, clothing and in laboratories. I felt confused as to why this was happening to animals. I just knew that I had to do something to make a change, so I got active! I fight for the liberation of humans and animals. My favorite activism is speaking at events to inspire others. I was presented with the "Kind to All" award from Animal Hero Kids. I am now the official Canadian Ambassador for Animal Hero Kids. I have been making you tube cooking videos for several years now.
