  • ½ block firm tofu, crumbled

  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • ¼ tsp turmeric (for color)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp black salt (kala namak, for egg-like flavor)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp olive oil


Other Ingredients:

  • ½ avocado, mashed or sliced

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread, toasted

  • Vegan butter or mayo (optional, for spreading)

Preparation

Step 1: Make the Carrot Bacon
