Fried Plantains

Holiday Recipes

Hand with red nails holds a white bowl of fried plantain slices. Background has spice jars labeled with cloves, cumin, curry, and more.

Sweet, golden, and irresistibly crisp around the edges, fried plantains are a must at any Caribbean meal. Perfectly ripe plantains are pan-fried until caramelized and tender, adding natural sweetness that balances out spicy and savory dishes beautifully.
